Mike has been involved with Footprints East/CEEM since 2006 when he was asked to help assess horticultural needs in the country as Mike had a background of a degree in Agriculture and a career working at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) mainly in Vegetable Trials. Mike has visited Moldova 14 times, most years we have held a Horticultural Seminar/Training Day where we have discussed horticultural techniques and latest developments in vegetable varieties. In addition, we have distributed vegetable seeds donated by UK seed companies as well as known winners purchased in Moldova. In 2009 NIAB donated 11 small polythene tunnels which were distributed to growers in Burlacu, Hirtop and Leova.
Terry Rugg

Terry's background was newspaper/magazine publishing. He was invited to join the charity by the three original members who formed the charity. As CEEM are also facilitators, Terry has visited Moldova with church mission groups and also NIAB employees. In addition he has been involved in water and medical projects. As CEEM move forward, Terry looks after this website as well as editing videos from members trips to Moldova. In his day job he produces training videos for GP practices and CCG staff, as well as a magazine aimed at the NHS.
Philip Bowes

Philip grew up in Berlin where his parents did missions work. He has a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Military History. As a student Philip used to work in a press and public relations office. Since graduating from university in 2016 he has specialized in democratization and nation-building in post-Soviet states. Philip is very keen on following current affairs in Moldova. In his day job he works as a Customer Care Administrator. Providing outstanding customer service is a passion of his!
David Smith, CEEM
David Smith
Trustee
David Smith has been the pastor of Over Baptist Church since August 2004. David was brought up in Mooi River, South Africa, and for 11 years prior to commencing his ministry at Over, he worked in management in the retail industry. David is married to Rebecca and they have two children, Naomi and Caleb.

David has made two trips to Moldova and is a strong supporter of the initiatives and projects the ministry undertakes. During his two trips he was involved in Bible training and equipping groups with local Moldovan pastors.
Geoff Pake
Geoff Pake
Volunteer
Geoff was born on his parent's farm at Willingham near Cambridge and has worked as a farmer all his life and additionally diversifying into electrical contracting, having recently retired..He is a member of Willingham Baptist Church serving in the Sunday school and holding the post of Elder for more than 10 years. He actively and financially supports the work of CEEM in Moldova, having had one trip there.
